In 1955, a platinum Cartier ring with a 10.47-carat diamond was proposed to film star Grace Kelly by Rainier III, prince of Monaco . The Hollywood star then became the Princess of Monaco and an all-time fashion icon. Another famous historical engagement ring belonged to former US first lady Jacqueline Kennedy in 1953. It was a gold ring by Van Cleef & Arpels with a 2.84 carat emerald and a diamond. Radiant 2.88 carats surrounded by round diamonds.

And music star Justin Bieber made fans admire when choosing a ring he designed with jeweler Jack Solow & Co. to propose to her lover Hailey Baldwin in 2018. The stunning oval-cut diamond is said to be close to 10 carats, on a plain ring for the discerning bride. The most recent is the heart-shaped breakthrough ring with two diamonds and emeralds that Megan Fox received from Machine Gun Kelly. The male rapper chose these two stones according to the couple’s  birthstone .
